Loved it but it broke quickly
Great product - the motion detection for both noise and visual are brilliant but stopped working and couldn’t reset and had to return after days of having it

I brought this as a replacement for a Wyse camera as I thought the 4K resolution would be far superior to what I experienced on the 1080p Wyse. In normal use, yes, I would agree, but using the digital zoom doesn't give you that much of a difference when comparing.
The setup was easy, so that's a plus, but I would say that the description of some of the features is at best a little on the exaggerated side.
The spotlight function is a LED that glow. As far as I can tell from using it in the dark, doesn't give any usable light for the camera to use and just acts as a notification that it's on. The same can be said for the siren function. It's there but not loud enough to discourage any intruder and not enough to be heard outside the nearby vicinity.
Coming from the simplicity of the Wyse system, setting the camera to alert was a long, drawn-out process of clicking and scrolling to find and enable the function.
Also, be aware that if you want to save alerts from the SD card to your phone/tablet, you are unable to do this without a paid subscription to their service. If you want these without paying, you will have to take out the SD card from the camera and plug it into your PC/tablet/Mac etc.. to view them.
For the price, there are much better units on the market, and their software needs a major overhaul to make it more user-friendly.
Good but also not good
Quality is great, app is okay, it all works and is definitely a decent product for its price. The thing that doesn’t sit right with me is the fact that you have to pay for “Imou plus” or something in order to see motion detected footage…
So, if you’re gonna buy this so you can see who robbed your house, don’t. You have to pay to see it, and chances are by the time you finally return home from your lovely holiday, the footage will be deleted.
Overall, an okay product, a nice camera, but not good for security at all.

This camera is perfect! It says it only supports upto a 128gb micro sd so I tried putting a 256gb in and it works, because it has a sdxc card reader im pretty confident it will support upto 1tb atleast. The quality of this camera is fantastic, the human detection is brilliant and super reliable and I had no issues checking out the live stream from my smart phone using my 4g data. Haven't tried night vision as of yet but you can turn the led light off so this camera is super stealthy which is perfect on not getting the intruders attention. Excellent product for the price
